Sketchbook Tulips Linda Rupard

This is a watercolor with ink from my sketchbook . We are so grateful for rain & cooler weather. Maybe it will help our lake levels to improve & hope the pasture grasses can green up a bit before our first freeze. Can't believe that fall is already here. Rain should help this dry thirsty & burned land to get some green again. Yea, no water rationing now.

This is a watercolor with ink. Only flowers we were able to have this year were in pots. Hot, hot & dry, dry weather made for a bad year for flowers here in W TX. Cooling off now & maybe rain this week.

Tea Time

I am posting an older collage that I had done for the Caboose Tea Party traveling show show.
I used real Butterfly wings that I found . Not a live one. They are so beautiful I could never kill one to use for anything. Can use my right hand a bit now so plan to have a new painting soon. Have a drawing of setup & it will be " Out of Africa"

Reflections

Reflections is an opaque watercolor over a failed painting. Leaving lots of old painting as a background wash helped me to get the reflections more realistic. Watercolor on paper. 15 x 22
