This is a painting I started many years ago & didn't like .   I put it away &  forgot it.   I came across it a couple days ago & saw possibilities so I reworked figure, hat & face and moved color around keeping lots of the old color showing through.      She can come out of hiding ,   I think I like her enough to frame now.  I will  set it  up & study for a few days  may have to tweak it a bit  yet .  

Working Cowboy

Boots & Skull

This is an acrylic I had done awhile back. I have several versions of this same subject. Western is one of my favorite subjects so had fun doing this one. Acrylic painted on 16 X 20 canvas. From a still life photo that friend Kay shared with me.
