Red & Black Vase Linda Rupard
This is a painting done on gallery wrapped canvas 9 X 9. The smaller image is the skin I used to paint the larger painting. The skin is 3 X 3 & mounted on 6 X 6 stretcher covered in burlap. The skins are made the same way I created my cards. A new way to create paintings taught by Doug Walton. I was in Granbury when Doug came there for workshop and lucky to be able to take it with that wonderful group of artist

Guard Duty Linda Rupard
This is a painting that has been a long time finishing. Painted from an old photo I had taken in South TX many years ago and some things I just wanted to add. The sheep had taken over the old place for their shelter. The second photo is Barnard's Mill Art Museum in Glen Rose TX that we got to visit some time back. It is a wonderful art Museum with some very famous artist's work & more great art shown. The old Historic Building is beautiful and really interesting to see the history that can be enjoyed throughout the large building with it's many rooms. The museum is open weekends Sat 10:00 to 5:00 & Sunday 1:00 to 5:00.

Poppies Linda Rupard
I have been without a camera for a couple of months . Have had a new one but like everything else it is so smart I am having trouble getting it down. I tried silk painting again & I really do love the look of watercolor you can get with this wonderful medium . Wanted to share these gorgeous clouds in our evening sky from last week & we did get some rain always welcome in our dry country.

Manikin. Linda Rupard
I decided to rework this painting again. Done over an old watercolor painting that I reworked with acrylic. First time around I had left the features more rough with dark splotches & rough irregular lines just went back & refined that face some more . I do like it this time much better. It is fun to use an old watercolor to paint over interesting areas you cant get any other way. My show is up at the Heritage Museum & will be up until August 17. Reception is Sat July 13 from 1:00 to 3:00. Museum is open Tuesday through Friday 8:30 to 4:00. Sat open but opens later.
