Lightening Storm Linda Rupard

Lightening Storm is another of my  small skins paintings.  Not sure if I will mount it to a bit of  old cut up watercolor painting  or mount on a canvas or foam core.  Once mounted I will use MinWax   Polycrylic ( water based) protective finish to it.    I  did get to go to Lamesa to paint with JoBeth Tuesday & I did this watercolor that day .   I love watercolor so will do another  soon just forgot how much fun watercolor can be.

Wild Thing Linda Rupard

Moonlight Sailing Linda Rupard

This is another acrylic painting on gallery wrap canvas.   The small one is the abstract  skin I had made before interesting process.  The first 2 paintings  I have done are closer to the skins but the next ones will be from more abstract skins that I will carry on to a more realistic painting.  The small skins are mounted on burlap that is on a stretcher.  Both are for sell.

Red & Black Vase Linda Rupard

This is a painting done on gallery wrapped canvas 9 X 9.  The smaller image is the skin I used to paint the larger painting.  The skin is 3 X 3 & mounted on 6 X 6 stretcher covered in burlap.  The skins are made the same way I created my cards.  A new way to create paintings taught by Doug Walton.  I was   in Granbury  when Doug came there for workshop and lucky to be able to take it with that wonderful group of artist
