Wind Power        Linda Rupard

I love the sound of a windmill turning.   When I was a kid we had a windmill and wooden tank .   That is where I learned  to swim .

Mother thought it was a lonesome sound but to me it was music.

Early Singing                Linda Rupard

This is a 12/12  torn paper collage done on a  wrapped wood panel .  One of the first sounds you could  hear in the country

Is the crowing of the roosters.  A sound that I have always loved.  So Early Singing seemed like a good name for my friend.

I did this one in a fun workshop at Brushworks Studio.  Fun with Kay and 4 more members of our BSAA .   Just a bit more collating and I will be done

First photo is first layer.    Second  photo is a little cleanup with a brush using the ink.  Not sure it is finished .  May come back in

& do more detail.

Desert Flower        Linda Rupard

I dug out my alcohol ink and  using 3 colors I had fun blowing through straw , using chop stick and Copic drawing pen

For interesting marks and adding small amount detail.    Nothing in mind when I started but I saw this  blooming Cactus

When I finished.  Love color so the Inks may be back on my table for more fun in the studio.

Powder Box      Linda Rupard

This little powder box or for me trinket jar was something I got one Christmas when I was a little girl.

So happy to still have it, a good memory remembering all the secret things It hid through the years.
