Tea Time

I am posting an older collage that I had done for the Caboose Tea Party traveling show show.
I used real Butterfly wings that I found . Not a live one. They are so beautiful I could never kill one to use for anything. Can use my right hand a bit now so plan to have a new painting soon. Have a drawing of setup & it will be " Out of Africa"

Journal

I just have to share my beautiful journal that my good friend Leada made me for my birthday. Thanks Leada. Leada does sell these if anyone is interested in buyinging one.

Poppy

This is a watercolor on paper of my little Yorkie. Poppy was my shadow for 18 years. It was hard when we lost him. He started out as a little terror but soon became a really sweet dog. He loved to ride in my car with me. He would set on the console so he could see out the window. Poppy loved toys & liked to play ball. He would roll the basketball ( which was pretty big for his small size) around by laying his front legs on it and pushing with his back legs. I still miss him. This painting will be in our Caboose Watercolor Society pet show in Sep & Oct at the Heritage Museum.

Elegance.

Roses are the favorite flower of lots of people. They make such a pretty center piece. Roses are always welcome from Sweetheart or Friend. Look great in as formal bouquet or just makes any place feel good & fragrant. Love the old Tea Roses for their wonderful fragrance. This is a watercolor on paper with ink. 11 x 15

Wind Fairies

This is painted from part photos & the rest from my imagination. Poppies most always are moving in the wind. I guess because of all the Spring Breezes that are usually moving at this time of the year. I do like Poppies & red ones are so bright & pretty. This is a watercolor on paper with ink. 7 x 15

Light My Way

This is a light house on Lake MI in the Upper Peninsula of MI. Painted from photos I took on one of our trips to the Northern Parts of our country. I couldn't swim in that water. It is really cold. Maybe it would feel good this summer. Might be able to put more then a hand in the water.
